In the past year I’ve had three separate instances of my power going out for significantly longer than just load shedding. The longest of which was 72 hours long. I want something that can keep a fridge running to stop food from spoiling and maybe charge some of my other batteries around the house.
Can you ever have enough power? Expecting longer and longer period without electricity, this is easier than carrying your inverter around when you have to take onto account it might be organised blackouts at your destination.
Working from home has been really hard with Eskom playing games with our lives. This would make working from home way easier and get to do my work in a comfortable place.

Just in time for Ke Dezemba! Going away for the holidays means possibly a new chalet, or a day out at the beach, or a park, or even a friends place. And to keep the party going, you need power. As much as I’ve load shedding proofed my house, the outside world still needs a little work. What’s better than putting your legs up and watching tv with your rechargeable fan blowing in this hot summer heat making you forget that there’s loadshedding yet again than the Amazing River 2?! We’ve had our eyes on this one since the beginning so it would be a dream come true to live the reality of my daydream 😅 the drenching summer heat is my current reality 🫠but apart from that, having the luxury of knowing that the nifty Delta 2 can do so much more than just watch tv is mind blowing 🤯 the possibilities are endless !

I need a portable power solution as I work from home so need power for my laptop, fibre router and some lights.
I’d really like to keep the lights on for my mom when its dark. She stays home alone and as son I always worry. With loadshedding and power issues it would always be great to know theres a plan B.
#Down with Loadshedding
Loadshedding never just lasts the two hours. Yesterday, our power tripped after coming back and still hasn’t been restored, with no comms from the powers that be. This would be a lifesaver, just to have that extra bit of power to be able to charge the things we need and keep the essentials running.
Would be a dream to have this make loadshedding a little more comfortable especially being a stay at home mum. We’re on call for food all the time. Just to be able to prepare meals with the lights on in the evenings or not rush through it in order to use appliances before the blackouts happen would make life at home that much easier. Also, to be able to just enjoy movie night with the family without the stress of the movie being cut in half would make the upcoming holidays so much more memorable ❤️
This is the perfect addition to my household for summer. The heatwave has been unbearable so this will be put to good use with a portable fan connected for the scorching summer nights

As I am on the move all the time, there are so many instances where I can’t even get my phone and laptop charged up as well as connectivity issues. The EcoFlow River 2 will be super handy not only because I am on the road but also when at home just to have some sort of normality during loadshedding

It use to be that 5-star holidays abroad was a big thing, nowadays sporting alternative power sources with the ability to be portable and offer super fast charging, is the new must-have luxury item.

I love that the portable station is small and compact .I would love to be able to make my mums life easier since she is home most of the day on her own, this is perfect for her to use. Winning the EcoFlow would be a game changer for me! I live in a little town where we experience a minimum of 8-10 hours load shedding daily, no matter what stage Eskom is on. If we’re lucky it comes back within the day, sometimes it goes on for days that we don’t have electricity.
Winning this backup portable power would make a huge impact for me as I’d be able to charge my devices and make use of it for emergency lights! Especially when our electricity is gone for more than 48hrs!

Our substation was on fire on Saturday and we’ll only be reconnected on Friday hopefully. I have 2 freezers worth of meat that has gone off as well as everything in my fridge. I would love to win one because living in fourways means constant power cuts sometimes for weeks at a time . With two toddlers it’s difficult to manage and I can’t work from home . I would love to win this as a 40something heading to menopause the Durban heat coupled with loadshedding is a total disaster.The loadshedding really affects my sleep patterns and as someone trying to eat better and sleep better not been cool while I sleep is a total fail so I wake uo grumpy ,craving sugar and coffee.As a content creator having a EcoFlow product would really ensure my devices are charged and wifi good to go.As the device charges fairly quickly this will save on my electricity bill as I am on a prepaid system.
Being a new mum to a newborn is tough with loadshedding…especially with trying to sterilize baby bottles and using milk warmers in between power outages…this would be awesome to have so I can focus just on my baby and nothing else. Perfect but powerful little gadget.
I live with a asthmatic person and the loadshedding has been giving us so many scare as it cuts off the oxygen supply, dehumidifier and tanks that give assistance to the patient- so this would really help assist in lessening the anxiety when we get 2 hour loadshedding and we will have less trips to the emergency casualty unit-

From reading the comments everyone seems more deserving than the next,and in all honesty we run a small pvt Uber business and when the lights are out so is the network in the area.sometimes we loze business as we are unreachable and let’s face it some days are quiet every cent counts.
Loadshedding has left us all in the dark, struggling to find a working light because you forgot to recharge your Magneto yet again…

I finally have an online (beginner) job after years of struggling to get employed even though I have an honors degree, certified in several courses and even a PGCE. I would absolutely love to win this eco flow powerstation, I’m a student and during load shedding it’s difficult to get my work done with the wifi being cut off and at times my laptop being low on power. I’ve recently relocated to a new city, the area I’m in suffers from cable theft and we are powerless for days. The EcoFlow river 2 would be used to power ny laptop, Wi-Fi and cellphone to enable mebto continue working.
The area where I live is densely populated which causes the power grid to overload and trip when power is restored, and this increases the number of hours I am left without electricity. I think everyone has more or less the same response to wanting to win this competition. Personally speaking, I work from home, and unfortunately being an online educator comes with a few hiccups. Getting penalized for not attending work, being late for class or simply not getting paid for classes that I am unable to attend. Around my area, there’s always theft of cables so sometimes we are without electricity for more than 3 days. The eco flow will be of great assistance during such times.
With the prolonged loadshedding and power outages we faced this year, it was a difficult academic year for my younger brother (he is technically my nephew but since we grew up together and I’m now his gaurdian since the passing of my sister, his mother) – this would be the perfect Christmas gift to power him into 2024 with and help him his keep powered during loadshedding as he gets through his academic studies. He just completed his matric year.
After 3 years of struggling through an exceptionally time consuming degree and working a full time job I’m sick and tired of handing in assignments late because I didn’t have power for WiFi or to power my computer.
