The new mid-range Nokia 5.3 is now available in South Africa online for R4999.

The 6.55-inch handset  features an AI-powered quad-camera, promises two day battery life and runs on the Snapdragon 665 mobile platform.

Nokia says it is the first phone at this price point to have four cameras, which make up a 13MP main shooter, 2MP depth sensor, 5MP ultra-wide (118°), and 2MP macro lens. It supports Night mode, Portrait Mode, and optimises your shot with its built-in AI. It has an 8MP selfie-cam.

It runs on the Android 10 operating system, and in case you forgot, it runs Vanilla/pure Android; has 6GB of RAM; 64GB of storage; and a large 4000mAh battery. Nokia says it has an ‘adaptive battery’ that will last two days even when you stream TV or play games.

It features a USB-C charging ports, 3.5mm audio jack, comes in both single and dual-SIM variants, has an expandable SD card slot up to 512GB and has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
