Circle to Search by Google is heading to more Androids, like the Honor 200 Series and the Magic V3 foldable.

Circle to Search

The popular Circle to Search feature, introduced on the Samsung S and Z Series and subsequently the Xiaomi 14T, in addition to Google Pixel phones that are not officially available in SA, allows users to search for almost anything on their screen in a simple, intuitive manner.

Users need to simply long press their home button to activate the feature, and then circle anything that’s on the screen – or scribble, tap and highlight – even while pausing a video that’s playing, to run a quick Google Search, without switching apps.

According to Honor, it will be available today, October 10th on the Magic V3, which has not launched in SA, and sometime later on the Honor 200 Series (via Android Authority).

EDIT: Honor South Africa says the Circle to Search rollout to Honor 200 and 200 Pro will start at the beginning of November and by mid-November all devices will have the update. However, 200 Lite, roll out will be much later.

Honor launched the 200 Series in SA this year, which includes three models: the Honor 200 Lite at R9 999; the Honor 200 at R15 999 and the Honor 200 Pro at R19 999.
