Samsung Vision AI powers new TVs

Samsung’s new 8K and 4K Neo QLED Mini LED series are now available in South Africa, powered by Samsung Vision AI.

The smart features found on Samsung Vision AI include pairing AI-enhanced picture and sound for the best performance, with personalised experiences that keeps users more engaged.

Some of these include controlling your Samsung TV with hand motions while wearing a supported Galaxy Watch with universal gestures support.

Samsung Vision AI will power the Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED, The Frame and QLED series TVs with universal gestures.

Samsung says its One UI Tizen interface provides easy access to the latest Vision AI features, including your favourite streaming apps and services.

If you’re in the Samsung ecosystem, you will notice the new cleaner interface matches its smartphones, tablets, watches and more, with the option of households to create custom profiles.

Just like its Galaxy devices, the TVs will also support up to seven years of OS updates.

Samsung says due to the success of The Frame, its Neo QLED 8K, 4K and QLED line-ups will bring access to the Samsung Art Store, to transform TVs and elevate your home decor with art for every season, holiday and mood.

There are over 3 000 works of art to choose from, including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Salvador Dalí, Vincent van Gogh, The Met, MoMA, Art Basel and many more.

Additionally, the 2025 Neo QLED models, OLED, The Frame and QLED will supports its karaoke experience, using its mobile mic technology from a smartphone and the Stingray Karaoke app, with access to over 100 000 songs.

Samsung Neo QLED 8K Mini LED

Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K Mini LED series features two new models, the QN950F and QN900F, with 8K AI Upscaling, Glare-Free technology, and immersive sound.

The QN950F, available in 65” to 98” sizes, offers 240Hz motion clarity, AI Motion Enhancer Pro and Dolby Atmos sounds with object tracking for realistic audio.

The QN900F, available in 65” to 75” sizes, features a new Metal Frame design, 165Hz motion clarity and glare-free technology. Object Tracking Sound+ with Dolby Atmos will take you inside each scene.

The QN900F series (65” and 75”) is available now and the 85” QN950F series and will be available for early order from 16 July 2025.

Samsung Neo QLED 4K Mini LED

Samsung’s 2025 Neo QLED 4K Mini LED line-up includes three model series (QN90F, QN80F, and QN70F) with Quantum Matrix Mini LEDs for improved brightness and colour.

The flagship QN90F features the upgraded NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, upscaling older content to 4K resolution, enhancing visuals with Neo Quantum HDR+10 and its Glare-Free technology. It will be available in 115”, Samsung’s largest consumer display.

Both the QN80F (100”) and QN70F (55” – 85”) feature the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor for an AI-enhanced 4K picture and optimised sound, 4K AI Upscaling and smooth, tear-free gaming with Motion Xcelerator 144Hz.

The QN90F series and QN80F series are available for purchase from now on, with the QN70F series arriving soon.
