Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 is now rolling out in South Africa as part of the new wave of countries receiving the update this week. Our Galaxy Z Flip 5 received the update today, the 17th:

The One UI 6.1.1 brings new Galaxy AI features to devices like the Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 series. The Galaxy S24 Series, S23 Series and S23FE will see the update as UI 6.1, with the S24 Series receiving it earlier this month.

The Galaxy AI features available include:

  • Composer
  • Interpreter with Listening Mode
  • Live effects in photos
  • Profile Cards
  • Chat Assist to draft emails, messages, social media posts with Composer
  • Note Assist for summaries
  • Advanced Circle to Search including Sound Search
  • Voice translation during calls in third-party apps
  • Translate text in images from websites
  • Create Notes from voice recordings
  • Translate and summarise PDFs
  • Auto-detect languages in the Voice Recorder app
  • Instant Slo-Mo
