Thule South Africa has announced two new limited edition colours for their Thule Chasm collection.

Outdoor enthusiasts can get their hands on Soft Sand and Deep Khaki on the Chasm’s best-selling collection. This includes the 40L and 70L duffel; and the 26L backpack.

The new limited edition colours are made using 100% recycled shell fabric, mesh and lining. The water-resistant coating on the bags is also PFAS-free, protecting your gear from getting wet and protecting the environment from harmful chemicals.

The durability built into every component of this collection means these bags will stand up to heavy-duty adventures for years to come, says Thule.

Thule says like with every design choice, the two new colours were ‘meticulously chosen with the goal to evoke a sense of calm but also to inspire users to enjoy an active life’.

Jamie Owen, marketing manager for Thule SA explains the rationale behind the new colours: “Global Chief Designer and resident colour expert, Ellen Frisch based at Thule in Sweden, focused on adding a subtle sophistication to the collection. The end result was the calming Soft Sand colour that brings an effortless quiet luxury to your adventures, and the rich hue of the Deep Khaki colour, that was heavily influenced by nature and chosen because of its understated timelessness.”

The Thule Chasm collection offers a range of bag styles and sizes for short trips or multi-day adventures, including duffels in four sizes, a backpack, a rolling checked duffel as well as a carry-on spinner.

The removable backpack straps, wide mouth openings, oversized grab handles, and easy-access pockets make these bags a perfect solution for all kinds of journeys – in nature or in the city.

The limited edition colours are available while stocks last, and will be available in-store and online from October 2024.
