Apple Watch Series 10 and the updated Watch Ultra 2 is now open for pre-order in South Africa.
iStore, the retail arm of the Core Group, one of two distributors of Apple in South Africa, opened pre-orders early on Tuesday evening, a day after the wearables were unveiled at Apple’s Glowtime event in California.
In a nutshell, the Series 10 watch is now thinner, has a bigger display, offers sleep apnea notifications (also coming to Series 9), new health and fitness insights, faster charging and sensors for water depth and water temperature.
The Series 10 is available in aluminium and titanium finishes – gone is the stainless steel variant, including a new jet black colour. The new titanium finishes come in natural, gold and slate, which Apple says has a more jewellery-like shine.
Here’s a quick comparison between the Series 9 and Series 10:
Meanwhile, the Watch Ultra 2 is now available in new finishes.
The Series 10 and updated Watch Ultra will be available in South Africa on Friday, 20 September, the same day as the new iPhone 16 lineup:
