Qatar Airways has announced that it has completed its Airbus A350 Starlink rollout and has launched the first Starlink-equipped Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which will connect over 11 million passengers in the sky.

The Doha based airline is now operating three Dreamliners with Starlink WiFi, currently the fastest WiFi in the sky, it says and took eight months to equip its entire A350 fleet, which brings its total to nearly 120 aircraft that are Starlink-equipped.
Currently holding the World’s Best Airline title for 2025 by Skytrax, now for the ninth time, it also became the first carrier to secure Starlink certification for the Boeing 787-8.
According to the airline, over 10 million passengers have since enjoyed the complimentary fast on-board WiFi on long and ultra-long routes in 2025.
For its Doha to Cape Town route, Starlink is available on the Boeing 777 flight, launched in 2025, and will become available on the Doha Johannesburg route once the Boeing 787 rollout is complete.

Its on-board ultra-high-speed connectivity is up to 500Mbps fast, which allows passengers to stream, make video calls and offer real-time productivity in the air, sometimes surpassing home broadband speeds.
The service will be rolled out to more routes, including flights to most destinations served by Qatar Airways in the Americas and Australia, and on prominent routes in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, it said.
