Kumbi Mtshakazi

Kumbirai Mtshakazi, also known affectionately as ‘Kumbi’, hails from the Eastern Cape but was raised in Pretoria. At 30 years old, his passion for computers and cars has been a constant throughout his life. Kumbi is a dedicated creative writer with a diverse skill set spanning User Experience, Advertising, and Social media marketing. Notably, Kumbi serves as the host of TMS Motoring on the Morning Show aired on eTV, and he contributes to Y-FM with his weekly #VroomVroomFridays show. Additionally, he can be heard on Radio 702 and Power FM bi-weekly, and he makes appearances on Metro FM. Kumbi's written work extends to reputable publications such as CAR Magazine South Africa and Apex Magazine. He can also be caught regularly on Buyer's Guide, and Ignition GT. He is also a member of the SAGMJ, a juror for SA Car of the Year as well as a juror for the Cars.co.za CarsAwards.
