Hobot Legee Q10 arrives in SA

Solenco has introduced its next-generation Hobot Legee Q10 robot vacuum cleaner and mop with upgraded features at a competitive price point.

The Legee Q10 robovac 4-in-1 cleaner comes with Hobot’s patented technology as seen on the Legee 7 and D8 models with some updates.

As a 4-in-1 system, it cleans with a front suction, sweeps with a deep-cleaning brush roll, sprays water, and reciprocate mops at the same time. Solenco says this makes it ideal to pick up pet hairs.

The company says the cleaning pads now feature a mopping speed of 900 times per minute using an 8mm stroke, while the circular design is meant to clean corners efficiently using a flexible side brush.

The Q10 has dimensions of 34cm by 34cm by 9.8cm, with a corner brush that extends 30mm beyond the device to reach into nooks and crannies.

It also extends 20mm under cabinets to clean hard to access spots and can climb carpets up to 8mm.

The Q10’s mop will work on all floor types, and has six cleaning modes, tailored to the user’s needs, including deep or spot cleaning.

The robovac features a 400ml dustbin and a 330ml water tank that will reduce interruptions and clean for extended periods.

As with its previous-gen D8, it uses Lidar technology to clean up, which is a laser instead of a camera for those concerned about security, and has smart mapping and SLAM navigation.

The Q10 can be accessed on the Hobot smart app so you can clean remotely or schedule your clean ups.

The Hobot Legee Q10 has a two year parts and labour warranty and will retail for R7 999.
